Accessories brand Kotur will launch a collection of day bags this summer, adding classic, casual styles to designer Fiona Kotur's popular evening bags and clutches.
The new bags -- of which you may have noticed a little taste in test styles featured on past seasons of Gossip Girl and Lipstick Jungle -- include vintage-inspired shoulder bags and totes in materials ranging from embossed calfskin to metallic haircalf and python. With an aesthetic based on the all-American-girl styles of Jerry Hall, Ali McGraw and Faye Dunaway, the line will retail between $600-$2,000.
The new bags represent a project close to Kotur's heart, deriving inspiration from the designer's personal collection of one-of-a-kind and vintage bags gathered over the past 25 years. Buyers will get their first peek at the new line next week at Market Week.
