It's Official: Magazine Sales Are Down

The initial numbers are in, and it looks grim for quite a few of the fashion big fashion glossies. At least, according to WWD's report on the latest figures released by the Audit Bureau of Circulations' Rapid Report, which gives puts together final sales figures some weeks after a magazine's sale date.

Vogue seems to have fared surprisingly well, registering only a 2 percent decline in the first half, while competitors like InStyle suffered a 20 percent decline. Elle, Harper's Bazaar, Marie Claire, and Glamour all fell into sync with about a 12 percent drop, while titles like Self and Lucky also registered note-worthy tips (9 and 18 percent, respectively). The final figures, according to WWD, will be released August 31.
