Our logic goes a little like this: See Jane get decked in a hot Cavalli gown and some giant "it" bag that'll be over in a flash. See Jane get laid off. See Jane get rehired. See Jane tighten her belt. See Jane get a bonus and sagely decide to go big on a Birkin, because Birkins are, well, forever.
