Journalist extraordinaire Katie Couric expands her current media empire from the nightly news to a monthly interview column in Glamour magazine, beginning in December. Next week, Couric will sit down for a Q&A with Michelle Obama for the inaugural edition of the feature.
Couric has enjoyed a longstanding relationship with the magazine through the Women of the Year program, having been honored and served as a presenter, while also sending her daughter to the magazine's New York offices to work as an intern last year.
We're not really expecting any surprises beyond the requisite inspirational fiere woman-types of questions, especially in regards to Michelle Obama, but we will be reading this particular "celebrity" column, as the celebrity in question is, in fact, a journalist.
