Gap Sets up Denim-Exclusive Shop in Soho

The Gap is trying on a few new things for size.  They've swapped out Banana Republic's Soho men's shop for a boutique devoted exclusively to the 1969 Premium Denim Collection and with that, made their first official entree into Soho.

Who knew?

Though ubiquitous everywhere else on the planet, there's never been a Gap store in Soho until now.  The 8,000-square-foot denim store showcases the new rollout of 1969 Premium Denim, which comprises seven fits in 23 washes for women and six fits in 28 washes for men.  The spare, industrial decor of the new space, bathed in light, raw plywood and steel accents, evokes the feeling of literally entering a jeans factory.

It's worth re-visiting the Gap if you're looking for new blues - we're huge fans of the bell bottoms.
