Yesterday's preview of +J by Jil Sander for Uniqlo revealed a 120-piece unisex collection of blazers, shirts and jackets in a range of colorful pastel hues and tech-satin fabrics.
The line, which will retail between roughly $44-$165 will drop in three installments this month, mid-March and April 2010. The designer played an integral role in all stages of the collection's development, working closely with an Italian mill on fabric specifics. Themes include “iconic simplicity,” “natural nobility” and “clarity and lightness.”
Uniqlo was clearly thrilled with the +J collection when it launched to much fanfare in the fall, and is banking on +J to take its brand into the future.
