This fall, Cynthia Rowley will enter the ever-expanding attractive shapewear arena with the new line Slim by Cynthia Rowley, in conjunction with United Legwear Co.
Thank heavens for this new genre of skivvies. Slim by Cynthia Rowley will consist of lingerie-accented shaping undergarments (high-waisted undies, slip dresses and bras) that combine tech brilliance like lightweight powermesh and heat-sealed bonding with Rowley's whimsical high design.
Slim will launch at the Coterie tradeshow, and will retail come fall for between $118-$226 at upscale department stores, boutiques, online and in Cynthia Rowley stores.
Rowley called out the irony of existing shapewear in an interview with WWD, saying that is intended to make the body look better, but those effects don't apply once the clothes are off. We concur, and welcome the advancement of stylish illusion.
