Boutique Beat

Welcome to our weekly roundup of what's on the racks at some of our favorite spots.

OAK
While the brilliant A.OK tees and brands like Tankus and Kai-aakmann are flying out of the stores, it's a new brand called Illionaire that's getting a lot of attention -- it's being called "the new Ksubi." Oh, and if you're stalling on snapping up a pair of those Acne shoes, don't wait, these are rapidly selling out. The good news is that they're actually re-ordering best-sellers like the women's melton coat, hooded poncho, asymmetrical wraps, and more. And look for Jeffrey Campbell booties to drop soon! (28 Bond Street in Manhattan; 208 North 8th Street in Brooklyn)

MICK MARGO
Alexander Wang's T collection continues to be a huge seller, but the latest twist on his basic tank has proven to be a huge sell for the store's customers. The low-back tank is sexy, simple, and of course the $78 price tag can't be beat. Just a heads-up, it's also the knits that are starting to fly out the doors. If you're a fan of cashmere line Soyun and cardigans from Demylee, act fast: The store just got a new shipment in, but these won't last. (19 commerce Street)

YUMI KIM
This chic LES boutique is celebrating its big one-year anniversary -- no small feat in these trying times. Come celebrate the unveiling of the new fall collecton, and enjoy everything in the store (including new items!) for a whopping 30 percent off.
Thursday, 6-9PM: 105 Stanton Street

JUMELLE
The new Bruce collection is actually an oldie but a goodie -- design duo Nicole Noselli and Daphne Guiterrez were insider favorites in the '90s and have returned after a hiatus with an incredible collection. Plus, we're loving Alyssa Norton's cool claw earrings, silk bracelets, and necklaces. It's no surprise the claw earrings are constantly on re-order. (148 Bedford Avenue)

CASTOR & POLLUX
In addition to participating in Lucky's Boutique Crawl tonight benefitting Housing Works, this charming West village spot has new jewelry from Aesa and Giles & Brother to celebrate. (228 West 10th St.)

KAIGHT
Two new Mociun coats are now in stock and perfect for fall, made from mill-end blanket wool and rendered in a cool Aztec print. (83 Orchard St.)

THISTLE & CLOVER
Fall accessories are officially in-store at this Fort Greene spot: The Marais USA oxfords are both charming and affordable (at just $88), so these are already flying off the shelves. The ladies running the shop are also infatuated with Chan Luu's cashmere scarves -- perfect for keeping warm in these long autumn evenings. (221 DeKalb Avenue)
