Badgley Mischka has perfected the art of a gorgeous gown, both on the runway and for, well, rich brides. Good news for the rest of us, the designers have launched the lower priced Mark & James bridal in light of the recession.
The line, which retails between $2,000-$4,000, significantly lower than the full-price line around $8,000-$10,000, will comprise 12 styles in trademark BM style of embellishment and uber-feminine detailng, constructed in the same factory.
Although the designers have been thrilled with the Badgley Mischka line, which is evidently selling like hot cakes recession or not, the Mark & James line represents a new philosophy for what certain types of brides may prefer, today's understatement versus yesterday's excessiveness.
