At first, we thought Angelina Jolie has signed on to play a high fashion model in Ridley Scott's as-yet-unwritten film called Gucci. But because she can do anything, she'll play the calculating murderess behind the plot to kill her ex and head of the eponymous house, Maurizio Gucci.
During the decades largely defined by the glitz and glamour put forth by Gucci and the billionaire family behind it, there lay a dark underbelly to the beautiful fashion that made that family very, very rich. Jolie will play Patrizia Reggiano, who served 29 years in prison for her murder conspiracy. At this point in time, no leading man has been confirmed, but Leonardo DiCaprio's name is being tossed around.
Between murder plots and betrayal, Angelina, Leonardo and, ahem, all the Gucci fashion- not to mention it'll be set in Italy - this is going to be one steamy movie.
