Fashion designer Isaac Mizrahi is snatching up apartments in his Greenwich Village building. The Wall Street Journal reported that Mr. Mizrahi has just bought a $3.5 milion apartment at 59 West 12th street. The newly purchased space connects the two apartments he already owns on the 14th floor.

With three apartments, that's 2,912 square feet of space, 1,000 square feet of terraces, $4.015 million, and a whole lot of fabulous home decor.

But wait, we did read four apartments. "The Fashion Show" host also bought a lower-floor apartment in the building earlier this year for $1.1 million, which he plans to use as his home office.

While the fashion guru paid a tad bit more than what was expected, neighbors say that they're happy he finally got it, since he was eyeing the property for some time. So, what's next? Maybe a fabulously chic elevator to connect the floors? Quite possibly.
