At the Bell House, Thao Nguyen (of alt-folky Thao with The Get Down Stay Down) and Soul Coughing’s Mike Doughty (who is everywhere these days—he just popped up at the World Record Appreciation Society setting a record for “Longest Extemporaneous Mid-Song Monologue”) provide the tunes, with comedy back-up from Best Week Ever’s Jessi Klein, Ali Wong and John & Molly Knepfel.
