The Creators Project Comes to Brooklyn

Following its inaugural showcase last year, The Creators Project will be returning to Brooklyn to put on its second Monster Arts and Culture Festival on October 15 and 16 throughout various venues in DUMBO.

Headlining the event will be red-headed siren Florence + the Machine, marking her first live performance in promotion of her forthcoming sophomore album Ceremonials (a taste of which you can check out below with the new track “Shake It Out.” Other musical attendees during the two-day festival include The Field, John Maus, Four Tet, Atlas Sound, Teen Daze, and Yeah Yeah Yeahs frontwoman Karen O, who will be debuting her new side-project Stop the Virgens.

Along with a number of art installations, various film screenings are also scheduled to take place, including a showing of Spike Jonze’s Arcade Fire short film “Scenes From the Suburbs.” While access to the event will be free and open to the public, a mandatory RSVP to each venue is required and subject to capacity regulations.
