Stevie Nicks Announces Webster Hall Performance

Stevie Nicks is a total babe. Just try to refute it. Since the first time I found the Fleetwood Mac album Rumours in my parents record collection, I thought she was certified stone cold fox. Yes, she has aged a touch since the 70’s, but it is hard to deny she is a league of her own especially after all she has been through.

But let’s put aside Stevie Nick’s good looks for a second and remember that she is a hit machine. Since she joined Fleetwood Mac in 1974, she has been an integral part to a ridiculous number of hit tracks both as part of Fleetwood Mac and a solo artist.

Ms. Nicks is currently crisscrossing the country on the "Heart & Soul" tour with Rod Stewart – a tour that stopped at Madison Square Garden on March 26 and April 6. Stevie will return to New York on May 4 for a performance at the much smaller Webster Hall. This uncommon, intimate concert will be a celebration for the release of Nicks’ seventh solo studio album titled In Your Dreams (Reprise Records) that will hit stores on May 3.

A show of this magnitude is sure to blow out in a matter of minutes, but mega-fans can stop by Stevie’s online store to swap an email address for a code to the pre-sale that begins Wednesday, April 13 at 10am. While you are getting your unique password, feel free to pre-order the new album. General on sale for the Webster show begins April 16 at noon.

Yes, ticket buyers should expect a number of tracks off the forthcoming In Your Dreams, but even if Stevie pulls one or two hits out of her hat it will be worth the extraordinarily high ($99) ticket price. Now I just need to work on getting back stage so I can cross her off my list. Wish me luck!
