With the gaggle of music websites, like Spotify, Turntable.fm, Grooveshark, mounting we’re wondering if anyone has tuned into the radio airwaves anymore since the year of dragon.
We suppose Power Live, Power 105.1’s annual musical showcase, isn’t affected as long as they have a superb lineup -- and this year they definitely do.
The show at Governors Island on Saturday features Fabolous, J Cole, Kelly Rowland, Big Sean, Estelle, Meek Mill, Wale and Ace Hood.
We’re guessing that after Kelly Rowland’s double nip slip last week at a New Jersey nightclub, while promoting her new album Here I Am will have lots of folks swarming the stage hoping for another unintentional/intentional “wardrobe malfunction.”
Or perhaps audiences will be more eager to hear J.Cole’s performance, which will feature tracks from his upcoming debut Cole World: The Sideline Story out September 27th, considering since Jay-Z has already claimed this new album is a “classic.” We shall see about that!
