Who: Portuguese band The Gift are leaders of DIY-music movement in their native Europe, and they sing in English, but still little-known on our shores—the purveyors of psychedelic synth-pop have even toured with the Flaming Lips. Helping to raise their profile are the band's fans and friends Lukas Haas and Isabel Lucas (The Cove, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen), who appear in the video for the band’s “Made For You” under the catchy moniker "Lucas/Lukas." The song is off their upcoming album Explode, produced by Ken Nelson (Coldplay), due out in June.
