Jens Lekman Returns with New EP, Fall Tour

After a pretty substantial absence, Jens Lekman will get back to the business of bringing you witty, genre-defying pop music this fall.

The five-song EP An Argument With Myself, Lekman's first release since Night Falls Over Kortedala in 2007, arrives on Sept. 20. A few weeks later, Lekman will perform two shows at Music Hall of Williamsburg as part of a month-long trans-Atlantic tour.

This morning, Lekman leaked the EP's title track--a characteristically neurotic bit of airy, tropical pop--to his website with the following introduction: "In the case of 'Jens Lekman v. Jens Lekman', we will look closer at the evidence presented - the photo I had carried in my breastpocket for a whole year, the pressed honeysuckle, the wind so rich on summer and so sweet - how are these things connected and why are they relevant?"
