Fashion Week Playlist: Duckie Brown

Mercedes Benz Fashion Week is afoot again in New York, which means plenty of outlandish outfits on the runways and some excellent music to match. This morning at the tents, we were particularly struck by the music selection of New York-based menswear line Duckie Brown, who packed their 30-odd minutes of preface and catwalk show with an excellently esoteric chill-pop playlist. It was really some of the most intriguing music we’ve ever heard at a fashion show; well done, gents.

Even if we don’t splurge on the extra-shaggy shearling coats and pearl-studded sweatshirts of the Duckie Brown fall 2011 line (and, it’s safe to say, we won’t—that sort of thing looks admirable under the Lincoln Center lights, fairly insane all elsewhere), we will definitely be downloading this playlist. (Thanks, Shazam!)
