Big Pun's Family Wants Street Renamed

Big Pun's family is on a campaign to get a street renamed for the late rapper, who died of a heart attack 11 years ago.

Nicole Rodriguez, sister of Big Pun, who was born Christopher Rios, has an online petition to get a slice of Rogers Place near 163rd Street named "Big Pun Place."

His sister says he was a true New Yorker who loved his town and his people.

She says fans come to the corner to pay respects.

Fans attempted a similar move in 2000, but the effort failed.

You can sign the petition here.
