“Glee” Star Cheyenne Jackson Describes His Dream Wedding With Beau

Cheyenne Jackson can't legally wed his long-time beau in New York State right now, but the “Glee” star told Niteside outside the Cipriani Wall St. Monday night he already has the perfect wedding in mind.

“Something small. My dream wedding involves just close friends and good music,” said the charming Broadway and television star, donning a suit and tie on the red carpet to the 9th Annual Elton John Foundation for AIDS fundraiser, "An Enduring Vision."

“And we'll both be in tuxes. Unfortunately, nobody's going to be wearing a dress, but that's okay, too.”

Rumors that Jackson and his partner of 10 years, physicist Monte Lapke, were married began circulating a few days ago when the thespian told Out Magazine they registered to be domestic partners at City Hall.

But Jackson, who plays Vocal Adrenaline coach Dustin Goolsby on “Glee” and has a regular role on 30 Rock, set the record straight by tweeting last Saturday: “Im not married, but thx 4 the love. Still illegal for us to get married in NY! Those ugly bridesmaid dresses will have 2 wait for equality.”

When that day does come, Jackson knows one special guest that will have to be there for the romantic but low-key affair.

“Our dog would be there. Our dog, our daughter, Zora. ... Pretty boring, but something just nice and on the beach.”
