Sunny skies and drier conditions are on tap Thursday, but there are still some school closings to report.

Expect a high temperature of 34 degrees each of the next two days.

Overnight lows the next few nights will hover around the 20-degree mark.

High temperatures Saturday and Sunday will reach 30 and 38 degrees, respectively.

A blast of winter weather pounded many states on Tuesday and Wednesday, but things look to settle around the region the next few days. The next chance for a winter blast isn't until early next week.
