Walk into an Urban Outfitters in these pre-Christmas shopping days and you might notice a new small selection of really cute and soft items, and we're not talking about miniature velvet Jesus figurines. It turns out that Urban has silently phased in a small pet department, displayed nearby the Christmas gifts and sporting mainly books and doggy outfits.
Although the items are just as cheesy as the human novelties at UO, the pet department reaches new heights in ridiculousness with the "doggy headphones" and "doggy boombox," presumably for the canine with a hipster 'tude. Pair them with a $25 dog jean jacket and it's basically a costume, except that the variety will extend past Halloween through Christmas. We pity the Fido that gets these treats under the tree.
