Today's Post looks at the closing of Mondo Kim's on St. Mark's, calling it a symbol of "everything hip and funky about the Big Apple." Owner Yongman Kim, you might recall, has been trying to sell his collection of 55,000 movies, and according to the Post he did get a bite from NYU, but they only wanted some of the films. Meanwhile, over on First Avenue, the newer, smaller Kim's is nearly ready for the public. When the doors do swing open, all merchandise will be 30% off.
