Pretty in Pearls

Plus Twiggy sings, Williamsburg has its own fashion week, thankyouverymuch, and more

MAGICAL: This little black dress from Thailand’s Sretsis label (that’s “sisters” spelled backward, fyi) has built-in jewelry: a slightly bow-shaped (removable) bib of appliquéd pearls. Holly Golightly, we’re quite sure, would approve. $675 at Blue Tree, 1283 Madison Avenue; 212-369-2583.

ANTI-: Williamsburg Fashion Weekend, the "original unorthodox fashion event," brings its sixth season to Secret Project Robot Friday 18 and Saturday 19. Designers are hand-picked to distill what’s next in edgy, forward-thinking style – see goods from Sodafine’s Erin Weckerle, Raab West of Yard (whose show will be a ‘Wiz’-themed MJ trib) and more. Schedule varies.

PLENTY OF SOLE: Have you popped into the Terra Plana pop-up yet? Through the end of October, the Brit brand of eco-conscious footwear – which we always think of as a cheekier Camper -- is slashing prices on men’s and women’s items by more than half at its Soho outlet concept boutique. 111 Thompson Street; 212-219-3641.

JUMPR: The cold snap has us reaching for oversized knits, like this wonderfully cozy raglan-sleeved cardi from APC. Add skinny black pants and your new boots, and you’ve got Balmoral-via-Brooklyn chic. $420 at Jumelle, 148 Bedford Avenue, Williamsburg, Brooklyn, 718-388-9525.

OLD-SCHOOL: Saturday is Twiggy’s birthday! OK, you probably knew that already. But did you know that the model, face of Olay, “America’s Next Top Model” judge, and now 60 year old is also a singer? Out this week is her album “Gotta Sing, Gotta Dance,” in which she croons standards and obscurities from the last Great Depression – and as an evocative period piece, it works. And goes best with a gimlet. Find it via Stage Door Records.
