DIME STORE: You'll need a ticket to attend opening night of the Housing Works Design on a Dime charity shopping event, but once you're at the Metropolitan Pavilion, everything in the various "rooms" (designed by the likes of Ty Pennington and John Bartlett) is up for grabs at 60 to 80% off, and all proceeds go to benefit the homeless.
