In The Window: Henri Bendel Hedges Its Bets

Henri Bendel is mindful of the election. Today the luxury department store unveiled its bipartisan red, white and blue (and pink and purple) window display. Per WWD, the mannequins are "dressed in the latest cocktail dresses from Chloé & Reese and Greta Constantine." Once all the votes are counted and the winner is announced, the retailer will have its window dressers move the mannequins over to the victorious party's side and will dump "several pounds of confetti...over the group in celebration." So if you don't have a television, a radio or access to the internet, you can learn the fate of this election by keeping an eye on Bendel's windows.
