Starting tonight and running through the rest of the summer, Madewell's bringing a chunk of Fort Greene to Soho and East Hampton. The brand's stylist, Lisa Schulner, has been obsessed with the Brooklyn Flea ever since she sold her personal vintage collection there in 2008. Now, Schulner's teamed up with Madewell's marketing director to curate a special vintage section stocked entirely with Flea finds. Almost everything will cost under $100, and according to a press release sent out by the Flea, the Soho section "will be located inside a funky wooden structure made of tree branches."
To celebrate the kickoff, the Soho store is throwing a party from 6pm to 8pm tonight featuring Red Hook food vendors, Nunu chocolates, and a special Madewell-themed beer from the Brooklyn Brew Shop. And if that's not enough Flea fashion for you, the market just Twittered that Style.com is shooting a street style feature at the Fort Greene location this weekend.
