Apple Educates Kids About Technology (Specifically, Buying It)

One of the truly depressing things about this summer's four- and five-hour iPhone lines outside the city's Apple stores was the complete absence of small children. Luckily, Apple has devised a remedy to that problem. Teachers can now arrange field trips to their local Apple store, where kids will "create photo albums in iPhoto, edit video in iMovie, build websites in iWeb, make Keynote presentations, or even compose their own songs in GarageBand." The program is available to classes from grades K-12, ensuring that when it comes to tech fetishes, no child will be left behind.
