UES Co-op Discovers Facebook; All Hell Breaks Loose

We like a little mystery in our co-op board turndowns, but where that's not an option, hey, we'll take boards that run background checks on children. Brick Underground reports that an unnamed "posh Upper East Side co-op" stopped a sale after looking at the buyer's children's Facebook pages. A few too many red plastic cups in the photos? Oh, if only that were all! The child's Facebook page allegedly revealed ties to a hate group. C'mon, kid, didn't mom and dad raise you to know better than to post that kind of thing where the co-op board can see it? (And hey, writers of Gossip Girl, are you taking notes?)
