Sting's Upper West Side duplex, on the market for the past four years, has finally sold for $19 million, nearly $5 million less than it's original asking price.
The apartment at 88 Central Park West went up for sale in 2006, originally listed with slain broker and former band manager Linda Stein. More recently it was listed with Halstead. The four-bedroom, 6,600 square foot apartment has 23 closets, French doors, and 28 18-foot windows.
There's no word on who the new buyer is -- but the unit has a musical legacy. Before Sting, the apartment belonged with Billy Joel.
