The brownstone market in Fort Greene seems to be holding its own, but the new buildings coming on the market? The word "screwed" comes to mind. Gabby Warshawer reports that developers of new condos "are seeing units languish on the market." Three are particularly giving off that gamey stench 'o death: the Clermont on Myrtle Avenue, the Verdi on Adelphi, and the Forté on Ashland Place. Clermont, of course, has already gone rental. Whether the Verdi is disassembled, carted off to Green-Wood Cemetery and re-purposed remains to be seen. [Real Deal]
