New York City is getting a new housing commissioner.

Rafael Cestero replaces Shaun Donovan, who was chosen by President Barack Obama to be the U.S. housing secretary.

Cestero starts his new job on March 16. He joins the Bloomberg administration from Enterprise Community Partners, where he served as senior vice president and chief program officer.

The national nonprofit focuses on community development and affordable housing.
