It's no secret that the new Crosby Street Hotel—taking reservations starting today!—is big on the art thing. It's one of the features that helped the Brits at Firmdale Hotels gain neighborhood support for their uber-posh new boutique inn. Now many of those fancy touches are being installed in the lobby and around the hotel, such as the big boy seen above. What's it spell out? The sound your financial planner makes when you tell him the hotel's introductory rates are holding steady at $495 a night (Dude, we're still taking our staycation!).
