Leibovitz Lenders Want Her Houses

advertisement

The same lenders that floated Julian Schnabel $8 million during the construction of Palazzo Chupi are ready to do battle with photographer Annie Leibovitz, who received $24 million in loans against the value of all her photos and real estate holdings. Art Capital Group filed a breach of contract suit against Leibovitz and is asking the court to force her to allow real estate brokers into her pair of Village townhouses so the properties can be appraised and prepped for sale.
