In the Meantime, Brooklyn Condo Van Tours with Chardonnay

We're not sure if it good, bad or indifferent in terms of what's happening to the real estate market, but one way to see all the condos on the market in Brooklyn (or elsewhere, including that place across the river called New Jersey) is to take a van tour. Today's Daily News contains a long rundown of one such excursion into the wilds of Fort Greene, Clinton Hill, Prospect Heights, Carroll Gardens and, even, Gowanus. Sadly, no stops in Park Slope or the Burg are reported. The company doing the tours is Metro Living Solutions. They say, "No trudging around in the cold, rain or heat, no maps, no fees you will arrive in comfort with access to all the information you need at your fingertips. And during your ride, feel free to enjoy a chilled glass of Chardonnay." They want to make that a couple of bottles. To wit, the tour taker writes about "the economy going down the drain." On second thought, screw the Chardonnay and stock the van with a lot of Stoly.
