The Upper West Side already has seven historic districts, but preservation group Landmark West wants the Landmarks Preservation Commission to consider one more. The group wants to win landmark designation for all of West End Avenue, from 70th to 107th Streets. There's an online petition (current signatures: 624) to get the LPC to hear the case.
