The Skinny: If you believe some people, prime Park Avenue real estate has lost a lot of value due to the meltdown on Wall Street. Let's put that to the test shall we? This apartment was purchased in 2006 and then got a top-to-bottom renovation by a "critically acclaimed architect." Nothing was left unchanged, from the walls and doors to the electrical systems and lighting. The sprawling apartment now even has an open kitchen, practically unheard of on the dipped-in-formaldehyde Upper East Side. In 2006, this apartment sold for $6.5 million. So, how much do the owners want now, post-renovation and post-meltdown?
