"First and foremost, I care for all people and us all having a roof over our heads, but i'll chime in this time around about this topic. Everyone seems to think this landlord is a pig. Fine, but it is quite clear these hold out tenants are/where trying to milk this thing. It is poor assumption on their part, contractual or not, to assume or feel they have a right to remain there for the remainder of their existence, and with their RS leases. This is by far the most important point. They had a very good, long run and like a lot things in life, all good things eventually come to an end. Its stupid on their part for not taking the money, they know they lost and likely will, although courts favor tenants. Now they get nothing but legal bills. It just is not any clearer from the months hearing about this." [Economakis Economiks]
