The warm sun and high temps are doing a number on some park attractions. Sun-baked metal domes in some city parks are causing parents and children alike to get heated.
Park officials put up signs warning parents about the sizzling steel domes, and they're pinning the blame on slow-growing trees, which will supposedly provide enough shade to shut those crying kids up.
"It's outrageous," parent James Wagman, told the Daily News. "My first reaction was, 'That's nutty. Why did they put that in a playground?'"
