The RG tries out the East Village's Apiary and awards it two stars. She finds a few standouts, but the place isn't exactly a home run: "Think of it as Neal Manacle's twist on Bobby Flay's palette of spices. After all, Manacle worked in Flay's kitchens for 16 years.
