Swilling Champagne at Beer Prices

Ditch the Veuve (you can't afford it anymore) for Domaine DuPage, a bubbly brew from Illinois that tastes like champagne

Champagne and beer, together at last! And no, we're not talking about Champale. The Domaine DuPage French Style Country Ale from Two Brothers Brewing Company in Warrenville, Illinois is a beer that tastes like bubbly.

Based on an old recipe used by French farmers to brew ale that would keep (and mature), Time Out says Domaine DuPage "emits a sweet and musty scent and balances toasty malt flavor with a modest burst of tangy hops," and that its "highlight is the hint of pleasing acidity." What, no word on mouthfeel? Pinkies up, people! Domaine DuPage'll run you $10.99 for a six-pack, details chez TONY.
