Special Vendy Awards Contest: Street Eat Strange Treats!

Ah, The Vendys. To some, the annual celebration of the best of New York City street food is cause for rapture (cf Brooks: "My favorite event of the year has finally arrived!"). For others (truth: us), it's, how to put this, not necessarily ahead of laundry on our Saturday afternoon to-do list. But hey, maybe it's your thing. So, to mark the moment, we hereby offer the following: email us a tale about your most disgusting food cart experience. Winner gets lunch on us (limit: $10) at tomorrow's winning food cart, or, heck, the food cart of your choice anywhere in the five boroughs. And we'll run the best submissions that don't immediately invoke one's gag reflex. Okay, actually, we'll run those too.
