The bi-annual quest has begun for well-plated food on the cheap as reservations have opened for Winter Restaurant Week.

More than 250 restaurants are on this season's list, including big names such as Le Cirque, Delmonico’s, Le Colonial and Tavern on the Green. All of those spots will serve you a three course meal for $35, plus tax, tip and drinks of course.

The lunch deal -- priced at $24.07 -- also comes with three-courses.

Other restaurants taking part include Gramercy Tavern, Telepan , Del Posto, Nobu, Perry Street , Shun Lee, Cipriani Wall Street and The Modern at the Museum of Modern Art .

New this year is the addition of Sundays at some of the restaurants. Only Saturdays are blacked out. Winter Restaurant Week, which actually covers two weeks, starts January 18 and ends January 30.

Some locations have already posted special menus for the event, including Nobu, which will offer tomato ceviche or sashimi salad with matsuhisa dressing or rock shrimp tempura with creamy spicy sauce for the first course; a choice of broiled black cod with miso, assorted sushi, or beef with anticucho or teriyaki sauce; plus dessert.
