Flatiron: Some exciting opening report news from Flea Dell, owner of the Hog Pit:
"The New Hog Pit New York City will be opening tomorrow @noon. The address is: 37B West 26th Street Between 6th & B'Way. We have a huge neon sign that can't be missed, even though there is a scaffolding over the building."
This is an incredible turnover given the Black Pearl shuttered in the space just over a month ago. Fans of the MePa original—which is being forced out of their space in January '09 due to rising rents—can rest easy that the restaurant is officially opening in its new home.
