We experienced some unprecedented voter turnout—and some definite supicious activity attributed to supporters of both big contenders— during yesterday's tight race between Elettaria's Akhtar Nawab (seed 3) and Dovetail's John Fraser (seed 36). A late night rally secured Fraser's spot in Round Two, a bit of an upset for Nawab, who will join his heat's other contenders in the losing circle.
