In case you missed fall's Vendy Awards (with their epically long lines), here's another chance to sample bites from a whole fleet of New York City's best food trucks, all in one place.
To celebrate its opening for the summer 2009 season, Gowanus' BKLYN Yard -- that canal-side encampment that became everybody's favorite place to hang out on sultry afternoons lat year, chowing down on tacos and swaying to excellently-curated live or spun music -- has invited all your favorite four-wheeled vendors to park it by the water this Saturday. Some street-food purveyors we're looking forward to seeing at PARKED! include the Red Hook huarache vendors, Pizza Moto, the Community Juice truck, and Van Leeuwen Artisan ice cream, whose owners we're pretty sure think we're stalking them after we went back for thirds at Bell House's Kentucky Derby party a couple weeks ago (it's seriously good ice cream, people).
