Fabio Trabocchi is OUT at the Four Seasons After 3 Months

Steve Cuozzo reports the stunning news that lauded chef Fabio Trabocchi is out at the Four Seasons restaurant after just three short months.

Though he has yet to receive a formal review for his work at the legendary Midtown restaurant and power lunching hub, industry folks have been raving about his new menu there (even the Cuozz notes that recent meals there "were the best I’d tasted at the Four Seasons in years"), making the move even more shocking.

It's still unclear whether he quit or was let go, but a reservationist at the restaurant blames "philosophical differences" between the chef and the restaurant. A rocky road for the Michelin starred chef who was had a steady job at a three star restaurant just over a year ago.

Little update: Pr says he left before lunch yesterday. Given that it's only been 24 hours, the search for a new chef has not yet begun.
