Der Schwarze Kölner, Fort Greene's first beer garden, partially opened to the neighborhood's thirsty residents on Saturday. It's merely partially open, naturally, because DSK's outdoor section (the garden in the beer garden) is still under construction.

But the sun drenched corner spot has plenty of space at its long bar and communal tables for serious drinking. They're serving 18 German-only draft beers from $4-$16 along with bratwurst, pretzels, cheese platters, and pickles. More reading here and here.

To check out the weekend crowd, have a gander here.
