Tribeca: As noted before, Drew Nieporent's re-do of Montrachet, Corton, is now under constant surveillance, and with good reason. A tipster this morning writes that he spotted Drew, chef Paul Liebrandt, and the entire kitchen staff posing for a photo at 6 p.m. And at 21:00 hours, an operative caught the above scene. A sign on the door told passersby that the restaurant was "Closed for a Private Event." The Drewski told Eater on Monday that he'd definitely not open the restaurant before early next week; so soft-opening junkies, it's go time.
