Tomorrow, Frank Bruni reviews James, the new Prospect Heights restaurant straddling the line between neighborhood mainstay and chef vehicle. Today, the Eater oddsmakers have set the action as follows:

You don't see the Brizzunz get out to Brizzooklyn so often. That we've got a neighborhood restaurant in James and not either a forgotten classic or something more flashy double increases this restaurant's chances of coming away with a very good review. That the other critics have lovedit also bodes well, but we know the Bruni will skew lower here, as he does with these small box restaurants. The question you want to be grappling with here, people, is, Is the Bruni here to put the place on the map or just to fill his Brooklyn quota as best he can. We're betting on the latter, looking for a very positive one star. Call, yours.
